I wanted to update you with my progress. I really appreciate the challenge presented by Ed Dale and his team. We are in our third week and coming close to the end of module two. The format for this year if I did not tell you is one week on and one week off.
I have researched niches, picked a niche, bought a domain, got hosting, done some free writing for my articles and set up my site. I will be publishing my first content tomorrow. I am a day behind as of right now.
They have some great tools for us to use during the challenge. One tool I have decided not to use is the wordpress direct, but do think it is good for you if you have no experience with wordpress.
My favorite tool that they have us using and I looooove it; is Market Samurai. It is an absolute must for those of us who are affiliate marketers. It makes niche research easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I have started The Challenge and we have done Day 1 and Day 2. This is a free training in starting your online business. It gives you the tools necessary for success.

Day 1 discusses how to tell the difference between a market, niche, and micro niche.
Day 1 they want you to least at least three markets and narrow down to a micro niche.
For example:
Market: Weddings
Niche: Weddings Pictures
Micro Niche: Weddings Portrait Pictures

Day 2 they are showing you how to find a niche. They want you to select at least seven niches and hopefully have some interest in, so that you can have some fun.


If you decide to join then pop me line and let me know, or follow along with me. I am off to decide on my three niches to use.
